What is it about the environment that causes our symptoms?
In the body, our immune system is very powerful. When we are exposed to a foreign protein, our immune system identifies it and attacks it. The air we breathe is filled with tiny particles called particles. These are made of chemicals and are known as pollutants.
When we breathe in the pollution, it enters our bodies and can cause different problems. If the particles are big, they can damage the airway. If they are small, they can get into the cells of the immune system and they can cause the system to fail. This can lead to an asthma attack or an allergy attack.
What is AirRater?
AirRater is a mobile app that uses air quality data to help people with asthma and allergies control their symptoms. The app measures the air quality around you and tracks your health symptoms.
